Developmental Milestones 

  • Begins to smile and show pleasure in interactions with parents. 
  • Begins to grasp a parent’s finger or rattle. 
  • Coos, gurgles, and makes throaty noises. Turns head towards sounds. 
  • Begins to pay attention to faces. 
  • Begins to follow things with eyes and recognizes people at a distance. 
  • Can hold head up and begins to push up when lying on tummy. 

Parenting Tips 

  • Every interaction helps to grow your baby’s brain. Talk, sing, cuddle, and make eye contact with your baby. 
  • Continue to take care of yourself by getting enough sleep and eating well.
