Workshop Description
Parenting is stressful, and your child feels your stress before they understand it. When you can pause and stay calm, your child learns to do the same, helping them feel safe and secure. This session offers tangible, everyday strategies for managing your own stress and helping your child learn to recognize and manage theirs, building a calmer, more secure home for both of you.
Audience
Parents, guardians, and caregivers of preschool and elementary-age students, and anyone involved in the lives of children.
Objectives
After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Use their toolbox of calming strategies to reduce stress and improve focus in themselves and their children
- Explain how stress and mindfulness affect the brain
- Express confidence in using calming strategies in their parenting
This webinar will be presented in English. Please contact us for Spanish language options.
