Happy Spring!
We know you have been working hard all year. Congratulations on reaching the fourth 9 weeks! We wish you resilience during the final few weeks of the year. As we wrap up another school year, we have some reminders and exciting opportunities to share. Let's end the year strong!

Presenters of ChildBuilders’ programs including the following are encouraged to send in your data forms as soon as you are finished presenting for the year. We have a Quick Data Form available if you are short on time; however, if you are willing to provide additional insight, please use the links below to find your data form. Data must be turned in before you leave your campus for the summer in order to count towards your campus and/or district’s progress this year. If you have ever been trained in ChildBuilders’ programs, we want to hear from you!
Evaluation Opportunities
We are seeking presenters who are willing to participate in the annual evaluation of Stand Strong • Stay Safe (4S) next year. The purpose of this project is to track over time the impact this program is having on students’ mental health and school climate. We have opportunities for a select group to evaluate before the end of the 2024-2025 school year, and a few opportunities for the 2025-2026 school year.
Perks and/or stipends will be offered to successful participants!

Recruitment for the current school year:
Do you have a group of students in 3rd through 6th grade who have not received 4S Elementary this year? If one of the following conditions apply, please reach out so we can discuss the possibility of evaluating your group this year:
- Are you planning to teach this group prior to the end of the current school year?
- Are you willing to arrange for ChildBuilders' staff to teach the five lessons of 4S Elementary to this group of students?
Recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year - we are seeking two cohorts, one for each 4S curriculum:
- Cohort 1 commits to implementing 4S Elementary according to your campus's implementation plan anytime during the school year to at least 2 classes of students.
- Cohort 2 commits to implementing 4S Early Childhood in full to at least 2 classes of students anytime during the school year.
Participants would commit to the following expectations:
- All data collected from students is anonymous and cannot be tracked back to individual students. Any notes about disciplinary referrals or disclosures of abuse that may be shared with us must be anonymized. We will never expect you to break confidentiality.
- Cohort 1: Distribute a digital (MS Forms) pre-survey to the students in your selected classes prior to starting the lessons. When you are finished teaching the program, you will distribute a similar post-survey to the same classes of students.
- Cohort 2: Complete a digital (MS Forms) pre-survey prior to teaching your selected classes of students, and a post-survey after you finish the last lesson. We would also request you to ask students' classroom teachers to complete the pre/post survey.
Elementary Pilot 2025
Are you ready to pilot test the new trauma informed and culturally sensitive edition of 4S-Elementary? ChildBuilders’ curriculum development team has been working hard to update the curriculum. We are looking for trained and experienced presenters of 4S-Elementary who are willing to test out the new curriculum with your students and provide us with an honest critique.
Volunteers will receive perks and/or stipends for their participation. Please email us directly to let us know you are interested in this project.

Keeping Children Safe in a Troubled World

When Life Gets Hard: Parenting Through Trauma
Book a Webinar
Our goal next year is to serve more schools, childcare centers, and community groups by offering workshops presented directly to your group. Workshops can be offered via Zoom or Teams, or we can present in person. These workshops provide an excellent opportunity for anyone who parents children, or anyone who teaches children, to learn, reflect, and collaborate with others. We can all provide nurturing environments for children to thrive if we are willing to try something new, share our successes, and support each other.
Webinars and workshops are great for:
- PTA/PTO Parent Groups
- District Parent Outreach
- Childcare Centers
- Corporate Lunch & Learn
- Libraries
- Church Groups
- Support Groups
- Conferences
While workshops are fee-based, we have many grants that can offset or fully underwrite the cost of booking. If cost is a barrier, please contact us anyway and we will try to accommodate your group.
